Hello
I'm Larry Lype, and have owned trucks since I first got my DL many moon ago. I have owned 18 (or more, I kninda lost track) Crew Cab Duallys over the years to pull my race cars with. I was a race car builder / driver for over 30 years. Raced in USAC, ARCA, IMCA, NDRA and some NASCAR. I even helped work on a Jet Funny Car back in '09.
Then I wound up working for the people who put on the Daytona Turkey Run and Spring Show @ Daytona Intl Speedway doing promotional work, until I had 3 strokes in 5 months
The car show gig was awesome, as I got paid to go to car shows!!!
Nowdays I'm 100% disabled due to my heart, and just play with my trucks, wagons, and over 4500 H.O. scale (hot wheel sized) slot cars. We try and hit a few shows each year, but not like the 70+ events a year like when I was gettin paid to go
My *project* truck is a 1968 C10 Suburban Panel truck. Its goin thru a complete frame off resto. I have posted pics of my trucks in the photo gallery page.
