New Ford to GM Convert.

After years of playing with 70's Fords, I just picked up my first square body GM, a beautiful '79 Chevy K10 shortbed (specs; 350, SM465, NP205, 14 Bolt, Dana 60). It's not my first GM truck, my daily driver for the past 8 years has been a '93 K1500. It is the first GM vehicle I've ever bought as a project and toy. I'm in love with it. The prior owner had swapped in the 1 tons and installed the 4" lift, before getting injured and unable to finish it. Once the snow and mud dries out, I'll start repairing/replacing everything that needs it and making some off-road upgrades. Can't wait to hit the local high drives with it, and hopefully I'll have it on the road in time for Sandpoint's Lost in the 50's!
