Hello everyone my name is Jake. New to the site. I have a 1985 Scottsdale C10 with a 4.3 v6 and have questions on interchangeablitly on oil pan gaskets if anyone is knowledgeable I would appreciate some information. Thank you in advance.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. As stated in my initial post i have an 85 c10 with a 4.3. I need to replace the oil pan gasket and can't get a one piece gasket according to the parts store. Was wondering why, and if the one piece for slightly newer would actually work or if I'll need to use the 4 piece they say is correct

The four piece may be your only option. They worked just fine for decades. Just make sure the surfaces are cleaned very well, and that you add a dab of black silicone to the corners where the end of the rounded pieces are.

Have you tried SummitRacing? Iirc, I believe felpro makes one for the 4.3L
