Installing 2" drop shackles does this look right or does that cross brace for bed need to be notched.

Yeah, that isn't right. As far as I know I've heard when you use 2" drop shackles you have to notch out the cross brace.

So that's really only 2 inches? For some reason it looks like more. At any rate, I really like the new stance!

Yes kit was only a 2" drop. Turned out better then I thought it would. I'm very happy with the new stance. It was sitting very high in front when I got truck. Po had put spacers under front springs.
