I got it together, letting the rtv cure tonight and hopefully putting it in tomorrow afternoon

For reassembly, I highly recommend yamabond 4. It is an anaerobic sealer similar to rtv but made specifically for sealing 2 machined surfaces together. I used it when I rebuilt my 241, works awesome! Yamaha and most makes have their own version but it is all the same, a lot of car makers are using it now instead of gaskets. I figured if the stuff can hold together 2 half's of my motorcycle engine, it can hold together a t case

I actually had a whole full of 208 parts until a few month ago, sorry.

For last few years I use regular permatex black rtv on my bikes and four wheelers and never had problems
Plus it's just convenient to go the 50 yards to oreilly's lol
There was one gear I had a hard time with,
It's the one with the small rectangular pieces in it that are held in with the c clips that the synchronizer slides on
I set my forward output shaft clearance with an extra washer, a little play but not too much
Other than that it all moves well through the levels and neutral
Don't feel any dragging or catching
I guess only a few miles on it will really tell

Should have the transfer case in tomorrow morning granted I'm not whipped from work, then I need atf and some u joints for the driveshaft since they have flat spots and are rusted to hell, then a test drive Tuesday hopefully

So it's been about a month driving on the case and it's been doing pretty well
No leaks out of it and the selector works smooth
Very happy with the fit of the drivetrain warehouse kit
