Need info

I'm in need of some info, I have a 1987 K20 Burb 4x4 350, 4 sp runs but body is trashed. I also am getting a 1985 long bed 2 wheel drive. I would like to know if i could use the body from the truck on the Burb frame and make a nice 3/4 ton 4x4 truck. i'm not scared of cutting, welding and modifing to make it fit. And will most of the interior from the Burb fit in truck cab (ie. dash, seats,door panels etc) because the burb only has 60,000 miles on it and interior is in perfect condition.

the dash will interchange basically from the doors forward will interchange

the 87 is fuel injected the 85 is carborated you can change the wiring into the truck cab and keep the fuel injection. change the whole wiring harness from the sub to the truck. i done it to my 85.

the front cab mounts will line up but every other body mount you will have to build or modify

the suburban is shorter wheel base i think so you will have to shorten the bed

Thanks, I'm thinking there has to be a way to lenghten the wheel-base on the burb frame. I think the truck is 2 inches longer. any info will be appreciated.

the frame is different the bed will not be a bolt on deal

might be easier to convert the 2 wheel drive to 4x4
