Don’t suppose any of you run these tyres?

My K30 is currently on 38” monster mudders on 16.5” rims.

They are old, perished and just knackered!

Tyres for 16.5” rims just don’t exist in the UK but i can get those michelins part worn with minimum 11mm tread for £150 each. Bargain compared to other tyres in a similar size at £400 each.

Its purely gonna be a show truck, tarmac and grass fields.

I can get 5 of them and 5 16x10 rims (new rims) for less than the price of 4 new tyres.

Just wondered if any of you used them? Worried the overall construction of them will be too hard for the weight of the K30?

Any info much appreciated.

Cheers
Jordi

People used to run them around here. Not extremely common, but I did see them. I think the used inventory of them has mostly been cycled through at this point.

If you need to buy new wheels to get away from the 16.5’s you might as well go to 17” if you intend to keep it on such a big tire.

17’s are probably the most common wheels for 37” and taller off-road tires, although I’m starting to see more 20” wheels on the 40” & 42” tall setups.
