Howdy all. I have an 83 K20, 6.2 diesel, Th400 with hydroboost. I was thinking of putting a NV4500 in it. My question is, Is the pedal assy and brackets Different for a hydroboost than a regular vaccum booster? What parts are interchangeable, if any? Here is a Longshot if the brackets and or pedals are different, does anybody have pictures so I know what I an looking for? Thanks for any help you can give me. Tom

Yes the brake pedal is different between vacuum and hydroboost. If you want a hydraulic clutch pedal setup your going to be looking for a rare animal as they were only 85 and up. The Hydroboost and Hydro clutch combo seems to be the hardest to find of all.

NV4500 are hydraulic actuated with either an internal or external slave depending on year. You can use a Z-bar (or manual) linkage pedal setup to save some money on the pedal assembly with some modifications. Check my NV3500 swap thread in this section to see how I did mine.

edit didnt realize this wasnt in the manual trans section.

Heres my swap thread:
