My '81 came with one and I added one to my '83 for $40. Original hardware is a self tapping hex screw with a rubber washer. I would not trust any adhesive for installation. My squares are original patina and I like the look.

This sucker has been sitting on the cab for a month now. Not installed. Just chillin. It’s growing on me. Looks like it will get the nut cert treatment as I don’t have a head liner so don’t have to worry about blasting thru one has

with the pillars, I've been thinking about having the holes welded up and putting threaded studs to bolt to. Top side, nutserts.

Really miss mine lol.

I think nutserts would work in the pillars too. The metal in the pillar is a bit thicker than the roof metal too.
