Lightbulb in dome light shorts floor light

So, I cant for the life of me figure this out. When I turn the knob to turn on interior lights (the door plunger switch doesnt work) the floor light comes on. I go to put a bulb in the dome light, and it halves or turns off the bulb on the floor and doesnt work in the dome light. This last time I tried it, it burnt the bulb out.

Ideas? Id like the dome light to work but it wont be 100% for what I use it for.

Figured out the issue.... I was using a single prong bulb in the socket when It needed a dual prong. Problem is solved hahaha
