leaky turbo 400, kickdown sensor

hey guys i got a turbo 400 that is leaking at the kickdown sensor,that little one prong thing that goes into the side of the transmisson. (pardon my lack of correct terms) how do i remove that to fix leak or can i just put rvt around it?

That has plastic keeper prongs on the inside of the case and a wire hooked to it for the solenoid. You'd have to drop the pan to pop the plastic part out. While there, change your filter too and refill with 4-5 qts of new fluid. The O ring is a very standard size and shouldn't cost more than .20 cents or so. Sad, a .20 cent part will take all that time and the cost of a pan gasket and fluid. Might be a good time for a trans service anyway huh??
