LD Calipers to HD Calipers

I recently installed drop spindles on my 1981 c10 lwb chevy. I had the 1” rotors factory. I upgraded to the 1.25” rotors to fit the spindles. Along the way discovered I had to upgrade the calipers to the “bigger” ones. Now I’m asking do they make a bigger brake pad to fit the bigger caliper?

I’m new to the forum so I apologize in advance if I overlooked this being discussed elsewhere.

I believe that set 153 works in place of the normal 52 when using the larger caliper. You may have to look up a C20 pickup to get the number. Seems like the 149 are for the ton trucks with the "Bendix" style brake caliper.

Have you asked the supplier of the drop spindle?

Or the caliper supplier?
