I have a 1984 c15 short bed. Had brakes put on new. I went off the box they came in brakebest select 5006rgs. Comes up as 1.25 disks. So I ordered 3” drop spindles for that. I went and measured them and they are 1”. Can I still keep the new brakes and use the spindles or should I just send them back? Is there a work around to keep the 1” and adapt to the 1.25” “only” spindles?

No... you need to get 1.25 drop spindles. Or 1.00 rotors..
