I got KilMat installed on the driver's door interior. I used 5 sheets total, to try to get as much coverage as I can. One of my family's biggest complaints is that it's too loud inside the cab so im trying to fix that. 4 sheets on the exterior side and one sheet on the interior side. Its made a pretty big difference already when performing the knock test on the passengers door vs the drivers

Also, for the first time EVER, I have a window that rolls up. I installed the new manual regulator and set the glass back in place, as well as the vent window. I really thought about a complete rebuild of the vent window, but what I have works. Im already spending more than I want on the interior, and this is a bug-out/desert romping/taking out shooting truck. Its not going to any car shows thats for sure.

I also started painting the rear glass aluminum frame to match the rest of the truck.

Next up is to order the window channel rubber kits, door seals, and rear glass gasket and get them all installed. Once the interior is "sealed up" from the elements, the flooring can start

Just a quick update.

Door seals and window channel seals came in yesterday, so drivers door is officially done except for the door panel. I tried to start on the passenger door KillMat, but the rain was causing issues eith stickiness so I paused that. The rear slider has been painted, and is in place with a new seal. Por15 of floor completed

Bench seat got dropped off today for foam repair and new vinyl upholstery. Gotta get the passenger door done, KillMat the floor, then can install the vinyl flooring, swat belts, and bench seat once its complete. Should be ready to go just in time for truck driving season

Finished the KilMat this morning and set the pad in with some spray adhesive. I laid the new vinyl floor in place and tried to approximate where it’s supposed to lay. I’m planning on letting it set in place most of today to warm up in the cab. Hopefully will have that done this weekend or next, then I can get the new seat belts installed

I’m having a hard time figuring out which door sills and which transfer case shifter boot I should buy. Does anyone have recommendations or advice?

No pictures right now but I'll add them later. I got the ashtray reinstalled with new cig lighter wired up. I also installed a hidden kill switch for the dual fu pump switch in the ashtray. If someone tries to steal it, the engine won't fire.

I got the driver's seat belt in place but decided I need to wait for seat to finish at upholstery before I continue with them. Same for the sill plates. The only plates for 77 I could find were chrome, so I sprayed them black to match the rest of the interior. They'll get scratched up pretty quick but I dont really care.

I ordered some fabric spray and plastic spray on Amazon. My headliner is in good shape, so I'll spray it black to match. Planning on using my last box of KilMat on the roof too once I get that pulled down.

I received the new transfer case shift boot, hoping to install tomorrow. Still need to finish the new vinyl flooring around the feet areas and top of the Trans hump too.

I was really hoping to get the seat back in time for Dino's GetDown here in phoenix in a few days, but doesn't look like that'll be the case.

Headliner before and after dye spraying. It doesn't look so streaky anymore after it dried

Headliner before and after spraying. It looks a little streaky in the picture but it looks much better since it dried

bench seat after picking up from upholstery. $1150.00 and they didn’t even bother to paint the mounting brackets. It looks nice but not real happy with the price

More seat and picture of the kill switch for the fuel pumps in the ashtray tray. I stole that idea from a post on this forum

New seat belts installed except for passenger side shoulder harness.

Tomorrow will be finishing seat belts, finish trimming and laying flat the vinyl floor, and installing the sill plates. The only sill plates I could find for a 77 were chrome so I sprayed them black. They're going to get scratched to hell and probably look terrible within a few months but whatever

Well she's all put back together and going for the first drive tonight with the new interior. Bring the wife along too. Only thing that's left is dash pad and door panels, those are probably a few months off. I'll update this thread when those happen, otherwise that's it for me till next year when I install a Vintage Air unit
