I gave up on trying to do the metal work myself and took it to a shop for pans and rockers. The guy says I'll have it back in about a week. From there, I have POR15, kilmat and new vinyl flooring to go in.

Just picked the truck up from the body guy. 1500 for new floor pans on both sides and a cab support on the driver's. Im fairly happy with it, other than bothbfloorpans have a spot that indents when I put weight on them. I'll have to see if I can find a way to shore those up a little. Otherwise they're both solid and I can't see through the floors anymore. I'll post some pics of the repair work a bit later

Now to start with the POR-15 and KilMat before I lay the new vinyl floor down

I really tried lol. But I gave up when I couldn't even get a tack weld to stick properly. At the rate I was going, it would've taken me a few years. 1500 well spent I say

Got new door strikers installed, and new mirrors with black finish on both sides. I am converting from power to manual windows. New regulators should be arriving tomorrow. Once I can get the windows rolled up and the arizona dust out, I'll start on the por15 kilmat and new vinyl flooring

Good trade off

Agree. I learned a lot doing mine, but boy was the learning curve steep. I think I was more elated to have the interior complete than the exterior. Granted half the stuff didn't have the fit and finish like it should.

Thanks. It gets the job done.

Nah. It was someone before my time. When I redid the interior I did have to fix a few broken pieces on it. Pretty neat for a storage option rather than jamming everything on top of each other.
