Quick question.

Going to drop the motor n a couple of days.
Should I install the manifold since its on the engine stand or should I install it after I drop the motor?

Jus thinking if it will interfere with the chains from the engine hoist and cause problems.

Thanks

I would install it on the stand. Much easier than hanging over the engine in the truck.

Best to do it on the stand so that you keep any debris and dirt out of the inside of your motor.

Also the stock engine hoist brackets go on top of the intake as well you need the intake installed to use a carb pad bracket to pull the motor.

And it is so much easier to install the intake when its on the stand!

It is easer to seal the rear of the intake with it on the stand. I use the intake to hoist the motor. It is way better than putting bolts in the heads.
