I bought the pens. Today I did a test on the AC vent. 9 hours later I thought it was good enough so I tried another. The pen would not push paint out.
You have to shake the sh*t out of the pen, then get the paint flowing good by pushing down on the tip on a piece of cardboard or something. Once you get it flowing good, then light press it down on the plastic and move at a steady pace.

I ended up using Chrome paint on the AC vents. I did use the pen on the Custom Deluxe badge.
You can see the screws I have used over the years on the smaller bezel.

I have had this truck for 34 years. I have a list of stuff to do still. Windows, seat, floor etc.

I'm a little late but I've had good luck with this model paint. Testors silver. This old bottle is still good.
