Can someone identify this wire and connector and inform me where it’s supposed to be connected??? I think it’s for the lock up torque converter but not real sure.

I am almost 100% you are correct- that seems like the test point I used.

And, see below from an 82 Factory Service Manual.

Truck is a 1980 c10.

So, I could connect that to a switch controlling the hot to test if lock up works?

Not sure about your question, but, with a test light you can follow this test procedure.

My PO tied a toggle switch into the wiring from under the hood to allow it (the lockup) to be turned on and off.
