Does anyone know if the non a/c heater box under the dash is different than a/c heater box? I think they are but not sure. And if i use an a/c box, will the non a/c control and cables work?

I hacked the two feed and return lines off my evap core/housing. I am hoping to remove most of that housing and just have the heater blower housing so I can clean up the firewall a bit at some point. I need to look in the scrap yard this winter for some non a/c parts.

if you're going to be looking in the winter, i have a complete heater system from my 87 (the "87" pic in the other thread is the control head for that setup, still attached to the interior box). i may be removing the body from my 80, and swapping to a 93 body, so it would be useless to me... it'd save you a trip to the junkyard...
