This little unit was causing the blower motor not to run on any mode that would run the AC compressor, including Defog. This is on my '79, I'm not sure what year ranges this switch was used. but it was gone by the mid 80's.
It was mounted to the HVAC control head.
Opened up. There's a rotary vacuum switch that was still working fine, and a sliding electrical switch that was making poor contact.
