Just wondering where the best place is to buy a hood for my truck? I'm so afraid to buy one that is a cheap aftermarket that will just bend when I close it. It is pretty tough finding an original that is in decent condition. Mine is in fairly good shape with exception to the nose of it which is completely rusted and each time I close the hood, I loose a little bit more of it on the ground. I just want an original, not the cowl style. Thanks!

I bought mine from LMC and have been happy with it. I also got the braces to prevent binding.

Really? I was checking that one out, seemed too cheap to be good but add in the truck freight and there ya go LOL ... Yeah, I'd definitely get the hood brace kit as well. Seems like a good investment. Thanks for your input!

no problem. Another option is trying to find an OEM one on Craigslist or eBay but that won't be easy or cheap most likely

Also be sure your hinges are in good shape, and lubed well. This will prevent the infamous bending of the hood too.
