I think I’m finally going to get around to swapping the 4L80 into the Olds this winter. I have had the transmission for a couple years, I have been dragging my feet. There aren’t enough hours in the day, I’m hesitant to take apart the car since it runs and drives.

What does the 4l80 swap have to do with the Sniper for sale? The current sniper won’t control a late model transmission. So it’s either buy a seperate transmission controller, or upgrade to the sniper 2 which will control both. Since the car currently runs with the existing EFI, I figure I would have a much easier time reselling it, and the potential buyer with have a little confidence that it works as it should.

I have no clue what to ask for it. I do have an extra complete untouched wiring harness to go with it, plus a couple spare coolant sensors.

Thoughts? I figured half the cost of new would be a good starting place, so $600.

So it's the original Sniper system? What CFM? New wiring harness & controller included?

I believe they are rated at 800cfm. The only airflow obstructions are the butterflies themselves. IIRC, a standard sniper can support 650hp.

Yes, it’s the original sniper. The handheld controller will be included.

I don’t know what the cfm rating is, I know they will support 650hp.

I have a friend that is a Holley dealer/tuner/installer. Supposedly the factory injectors are the limiting factor, around 680ish you start to run out of injectors pulse. No clue if bigger injectors are available or would even fit in the throttle body.

Thanks for the interest.
