Hi fellows! New 1 from Mehicoo!

Hi all!

I'm Roger, live in Puerto Vallarta i Mexico. Bet some of you've been here to vacation or just came back from Spring Break!

Well, anyway....Just bought a 1989(In US this model was canceled 1987 I think) C10 "Cheyenne". I believe the "Cheyenne" thing to be an equipment package.

Bought it from my well trusted mechanic after over a year of eyeing it in his shop. Sitting there all sad in a corner. Gave him and offer and after some discussion it was mine! Joy!
It is currently in pieces for a little overhaul. Rebuilt motor, brakes, suspension, new gasonline tanks, seats out to get new upholstery and soon will see new paint on it as well. Classic red/white.

I will probably have a lot of stupid questions for you guys but I hope you'll stand it. I'll buy you a beer if you're stopping by for vacation as compensation!

I'll stop by the shop on saturday to check on things. Not much to show just yet. It's in pieces. Will see if I dare post some photos of it this weekend... lol

The Square Body is a pretty common work truck here, but few look anything special. Many in poor condition. If I see something Ill try snap a photo.

Even though my mechanic is working on it now and I probably should keep my nose out if it... Saturday we'll have a few beers in his shop and make plans.
