Been working on my 2 1-ton crew cabs for quite a while, but starting to get a little more serious than regular maintenance & fixes, so thought I'd join to take advantage of all the resources here.
Here's my 79 C30. Was originally a SBC, but that was swapped for a 6.2 diesel in the early 90's. It was purchased new by my parents & was my first driver in high school. Just finished putting the motor back together after getting the heads reman'd. Plan now is to fix everything else(front suspension rebuild, brakes, electrical, interior, minor body work), then maybe section the frame & make it a short box.
This is my K30. Pretty much an off-road toy at the moment. Has a SBC with Vortec heads, Holley 600cfm 4-barrel & auto trans. Have a big block set aside to build for it when I get the time & space.
