Hello, guys and gals! Just picked up my first K20 and I'm happy to be here. I have plans to turn it into a tow pig, so I hope I can find all
the info I need here to make my project possible! Glad to be here.

Welcome to the forum, from Houston!
What engine/trans/axle ratios are you working with? That information will help decide what you can do.
My most recent towing has been done with a one ton OBS truck, but in my younger days the family towed some with our C10 350 Burbs. Single axle utility trailers, ~ 2500-3000 pounds loaded. We had enough truck for the job, and they did well, but a 20/30 series gives you more margin as well as capacity and capabilities. That's one reason I bought the one ton.....

Hello and thanks!
I wasn't sure I should add all that here, so I started a thread in engine/ performance, but in short, will be going with 500 CID caddy and still working on trying to figure out the rest. I do have current vacuum/ fuel and high idle problem I started thread in tech section, so I'd really appreciate some advice on that, too!

Welcome from a fellow Houston member !

K1500 Sub, so sorry, but I am not going to be able to help with tow advice.

Lots of smart folks that can and will, though.
:)

Thank you! I have other issues with it, so I'm sure I could still use your advice. lol
