Hello all, I am new to your forum and pretty green when it comes to repair of the square body. I have joined other forums to get the most knowledge I can so that i can best repair my truck and upgrade it to the point that i like. I picked up a 90' rusty body K5 and an 84' M1009 CUCV which is not nearly as rusty so I am either looking to trade my gasser K5 for a diesel or looking to transfer the engine to the CUCV....Which is going to be a task in itself. I am having fun wrenching things off and learning the engine bay. Seeing that there are subtle differences between the way things are routed for the military truck vs the civilian truck. I look forward to learning from you all.
