Hey y’all, any recommendations for a set of budget headers that will bolt in without jacking up the motor, beating the hell out of em etc etc. it’s a 305 in a 1979 c10 custome deluxe. I’m not looking for performance or anything just something I can bolt in and it not cost me an arm and a leg. Thank you all in advance

I bought these for my 79. They tuck up nicely in the frame rails. No beating them or anything. Although I did have to get a different transmission cross member. Gaskets that come with them are garbage. Invest in a good set.

Awesome thanks. Which trans crossmember did you have to get?

Well I bought this one off of Ebay. I was skeptical at first. Upon arrival I was impressed with the overall quality of it and the powder coat finish for the price. Here’s the catch, which I kind of was expecting. There was some modification to the piece to make it work. Had to drill some new holes. No big deal considering other brands are about $300, I drilled some holes and made it work. I contacted them and left a review stating that I had to modify it and they refunded me $25 back. So long story short it was well worth $25

I found a second crossmember and made a new one using both driver sides welded together. Was easy.
