Yep, do that as suggested, or do without. With most of us here, you'll get more help on this forum than you will out of any book. With exception of the GM wiring diagram book. And if you get that, then be prepared to share the info with us when needed.

The haynes manuals for these trucks suck. A factory manual is a GREAT idea.

Agreeing with this also, its a waste of money even if they cost 10 bucks considering anything you need to know in a hurry can be punched into a search engine for free!

I had one and threw it away, they are that ******.
