Having my truck painted

I'm having my truck painted by a professional painter on the side. The price was very reasonable, hopefully it turns out nice. I should have it back in a week or so and I'll post some pictures of it. I'm keeping it the original color, and he's not doing the door jambs they look pretty decent, trying to keep the cost down. There was very little rust only some surface rust on the exterior side on the passenger side bed wall, so very little body work was needed. He's shooting it with Dupont paint, 3 coats of color and 2 coats of clear.

Thanks, I might be getting it back today. I hope he did a decent job, pictures can be deceiving. It only took him a few weeks and like I said the price was very reasonable. I know a regular shop would have charged probably 2-3 times what he did.

That's for sure, not there's anything wrong with that, lol. I got the truck back and he did a nice job for the money. I'm going to have him buff it out though, so it should look even nicer. He said he would buff it out for $150. which sounds like a good deal to me. I went this far so I might as well have it done.

Looks great! and sounds like you got a decent deal. I hope I can get my brother n law to paint ours. And I'm sure its $150 well spent.
