Can someone please help me with what is needed for attaching the headliner bows in a 1986 GMC suburban 2500? I have 3 metal rails that keep each section in place.
I’ve attached a picture on this thread for what I have currently and it’s just a temporary fix with some plywood, but I would like to do MDF board with headliner upholstery and I already have the headliner bows, but I’m just not sure how to attach them and what hardware is needed.
LMC truck doesn’t really show anything, but I feel like there is some kind of plastic hardware that slides between those interior roof rails and allows for the headliner bows to be screwed into it.
I would rather not gerrymander the interior metal more than I already have on the quick fix so if somebody can point me in a direction or if anyone has the hardware I can purchase I’m looking to get that project done next
