I just went back and relooked at this... I don't know why I thought this was a suburban duramax swap. 3/4 ton truck to 3/4 ton truck should be stupid simple.

Some insight here maybe?

If the frame is good on the Dmax, I’d think a body swap would be the path of least resistance if you were to pursue this. The rear in the diesel should be an 11.5” vs the 10.5” in the gas truck.

Dmax frame has a lot of surface rust, but I don’t see any rot, so that’s definitely an idea.

It's very direct since you have everything.

It is indeed plug and play, but it is a massive amount of harnesses and plugging and swapping.
