Hello Everyone

I joined this site a couple years ago mainly to look at pictures, and to gather more information about the square bodies. I figured it was bout time to say hi.

Last year my Grandfather passed away and I inherited his 77 Chevy K20 Silverado Camper Special. He bought it brand new in 76 and it has less than 42K miles on it. Mechanically is pretty good, I think it needs a new carb, and full exhaust system. The body is also in pretty good shape with only minor surface rust, and the typical rust in the lower rear fenders. The interior is the rare Mandarin Orange, some of its in good shape, some not so much.

Even though the exterior and interior are not my favorite colors in the world, I think I would like to restore this truck the same colors.

I am currently in the process of restoring a 69 Chevy C20. Once that project is complete I should have the time and funds to start restoring the 77. I also have several other GM vehicles including my 03 Silverado 1500HD, and my 69 Chevelle Malibu

Here are some pictures of the 77:

The headliner is in great shape, but its sagging so I will have to see if it can be re-attached.

Thanks everyone.

Its going to be a fun project when i finally get to it. Like I said Im currently restoring a 69 Chevy which is going to be taking up a lot of my spare time. And on top of that Im moving in a week to a larger city with less room for toys, and Im starting up my own restaurant so Im going to be busy busy. Hopefully once I finish the 69 in a couple years I will be able to slowly work on the 77. Meanwhile I will just store the 77 at my parents house (same with the Chevelle) till I have a little more room to work on it.

I would like to restore it in the same exterior and interior color since it would be neat to keep it the way it was. I will also probably put a few custom touches too it, I may lift it 4" and put some nice wheels, and I will probably put some modern touches like power locks, stereo upgrades, etc...

Here are some pictures of my other vehicles just in case you are interested.

Here is the 69 Chevy Im restoring. This is a picture of when we bought it. It is currently stripped down and at my paint guys places. Once he has the body and paint work all done, I will begin putting her back together.
