Gas tank install question.

I have already installed the driver side 16 gallon tank.. And it was hell !!!!

I had to give each line from the sending unit to the hard line a good amount of hose slack so that it will loop and not kink.

Jus wondering if that is OK to do or not??

I dont feel like taking off the bed of the truck.

If there is a different and better way please let me know as I'm about to start the install of the passenger tank.

Should be fine as long as it aint kinked or pinched or rubbing. Length of hose should not matter over that amount of distance.

You can install the sending units on the wrong side of the truck. It makes it easier to install a longer hose and raise the tank up without kinking the hose. But if you got it done without kinking the hose, you're fine.

Didn't think of that !!

Yea I got a small camera and ran it through the top of the tank to see if any hoses were kink.
All looks good. All 3 hose are fine and not rubbing on n e thing sharp.

Installing the tanks were the worst part of my rebuild so far!!!
Won't do one again!!
Man it sucked!!!
