Can someon help with a VHX Dakota digital. I can't get my gas gauge to read correctly. Can someone show the wiring for a 79c10

Can someon help with a VHX Dakota digital. I can't get my gas gauge to read correctly. Can someone show the wiring for a 79c10

Check the grounds first, there should be a sending unit wire grounded to the frame rail near each tank.

Inspect them & make sure they're clean and bolted down on a clean rust and paint free spot on the frame.

The grounds are hooked to the sending unit with a plain uninsulated spade connector on the top of the tank, clean those if you can get to them.

Also, confirm that you set the gauge to read 90 ohms.

Edit - Not sure if the 79 needs the 90 ohms. Sorry bout that
