Fuel Tank selector valve

I have dual tanks on my Truck and was wondering what i have to do to put the new selector valve on? Do i have to pull bed? I hope not or is it easiear than that? Any help is appreciated, Thanks!

You should be able to get to it from underneath. Mine was more underneath the cab than the bed, but my truck is TBI, so I'm not positive where it is on the carb'd trucks. I just had to remove a little metal shield to access mine.

Mine had a little black plastic cover on it. It was right behind the cab under a cross member if I remember correctly.
