Fuel selector valve low volts

I installed new switch and new fuel selector valve and it worked fine.Now it’s only getting 8.50 volts to the plug now, I only hear click and don’t hear the solenoid kicking in. what should I be looking for in the wiring?

The fuel tank selector valve gets power from the switch. The switch gets it direct from the fuse block via the pink wire.
