Fuel Injection Systems: Experiences & Suggestions

All,

I did a quick search and couldn't find what I'm looking for here. I have a 1984 square with a 383 stroker carburated engine. Among many things I want to do is to replace the carburetor with FI. Surely this is a common thread out here. Can someone point me at the thread(s) and/or share experiences or good luck stories with specific systems?

First decide what you can afford to spend, if you are going to do the conversion yourself, your capabilities, and whether you want TBI or MPI.
