I own a 86 GMC 2500 and recently the wire that reads the fuel level was yanked from the firewall inside the motor compartment. Formal owner had all of the wiring hanging everywhere. I was able to connect the wire back in but my issue is it only reads only one tank. I switch tanks but fuel gauge won’t move to the full position. Has anyone had this issue or an idea as to where I should start looking.
