That frame looks decent in the picture.

It's real hard to find anything for less than $1500 anymore. The less rusty stuff tends to be around 3K now. But take that 3K down south somewhere and you can find a much nicer truck (no rust) for the money.

The frame in the pic almost looks like red primer. The rear axle already appears to be painted black.

--nevermind. I just zoomed in and you can see the missing metal on the end of the passenger side rail.

Says the guy who used Vise Grips to hold a rusted body onto a rusted frame so it don't fall off the frame when he hits a pot hole or goes over railroad tracks. :happy175: :laughing1:

Decent means only needs 4 pair of Vise Grips. Great would be only 1 or 2 pair. :laughing1:

Define cheap. I've been looking for a 500 piece of ****. Cheapest thing I've found and looked at was asking 1200. Problem is I don't care where you're at. Everybody thinks they have gold. Well hate to break it. But some of this ain't even bronze. But here you go what do yins think of this?

If the tail is all your worried about don't. Mine looked like that, I just plated it on the inside. My hitch mounts on the outside of the frame the ugliness gets samiched in between. Also with my Blazer tank swap it puts a cross member right there.
