My buddy has a drop bumper on his 1997 f350. He wants to trade me for my regular step bumper on my 87 k20. Will his bumper bolt up to my brackets?

Probably not. Your bumper probably won't bolt up to his truck either.

The drop bumper should fit with the brackets that are on it. IIRC, just unbolt the brackets from the bumper, bolt them onto the other side of the mounting plate, then bolt it to your truck.

If your bumper is OEM, it won't bolt to his truck without modification. Not entirely sure about all this, just fairly sure.
