For the ls guys out there?? (5.3 related)

I talked to a guy that said he had a set of 317 heads complete intake and manifold off a 6.0 he would sell me but someone else told me the 317s aren't worth my time on a 5.3 any advice?

317s won't work on a 5.3. Bore is too small.

317's will work, but they will lower your comp to around 8.5 because they have a larger chamber.......

Good if you are gonna force some air down its throat, but not NA.
