fold down rear seat for a crew cab?

i seen a pic of a rear fold down seat in a 80's crew cab was that a factory option or somehting custom someone done?

I am sure with a little ingenuity a 2nd row split bench from a Burb can be made to work in a CC.

i like the way that looks folded down but up it looks to much like a couch

I would think the middle of a burb would be better. If you wanted to load it you wouldn't have seat exposed.

Conversion companies like Western Hauler (is that right?) installed folding rear seats sort of like the one shown above.

My idea is to modify a stock front bench seat so it can lean all the way back and meet up with the rear bench seat. That way you end up with a bed that's nearly as big as the truck cab.

the fold down front seat would be sweet but i have buckets with a fold down seat/console in the center
