You read it right, I'm the FNG. Although Mechanically inclined, My 1975 K20 from time to time stumps me with a problem or three.

Into the trenches I go, I take shots in the dark from precarious characters at Checker, Advance, and NAPA. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose. Nevertheless, I go elsewhere for the everlasting quest that is to nitpick my Sunday driver to the point of no return... This is when a little Bird told me that these forums are chock full of weekend garage Monkeys like myself.

ALAS! have I found my "safe haven" for all questions K20?

Great. Grand. Wonderful. Now how do I upload a picture of my Truck.:gr_guns:

Welcome, that's a great looking truck. I lived in Thornton for a couple of years.

Howdy! Is that two-tone paint scheme original?

Thanks everyone- Thorton, yes. Just North of me. Bucket- you will like this- I bought this truck from a Man on the 4th of July, summer of 2011... He was the second owner, and recent buyer of the truck's first owner. Guy he bought it from assembled the truck for himself on the GM Line in 1974. The truck came with an Original set of "employee project" heads. They are still in the original GM Wrappers, painted Orange. The guy I bought it from gave it as a "College" gift to his son, who was to go off to college Fall of 2011. His son didn't like it. He wanted an import tuner, with a beer can muffler.

So the Father put it up for sale. Parked it in a busy parking lot just east of my neighborhod, wearing a homemade "For Sale" sign.

Bought that thing faster than you could say faster . The paint is the original scheme, but Re-Done since.
