Hell yeah, good link. The 40s sound good but I kinda like that Hushpower Shorty and the Super 10.

super 10 will wake up neighbors 3 streets over. I had one on a 92 Lumina I had. It rattled windows and boomed throughout the mountain valleys... I could only imagine on a SBC V8.

PS. lots of interior resonance with the Super 10

Just for reference, video of that Super 10 on the lumina

EDIT: Title should read 40 Series...

Im considering a 40 Series...not sure if it might be too loud.....have a Magnaflow now, unsure what model and could use a bit more growll...

You must be registered for see images

This thread isnt a Flowmaster vs. Brand XX discussion either, so if you run-have ran a Flowmaster on your Square, which one did you use....how was teh sound...

70 series big block, but you know me, I hate too much noise. You can get a shorter MF for more growl....they have them down to 11 or 12 inches. Neighbor has a 50 seris Delta low on his 99v1500, dual 2 1/4 outs to 3" tips, nice noticeable growl, but the sound is confined to the Ct.

You have to be careful. If you go to any "run of the mill" exhaust shop, they will have 40 series DELTA FLOW. Most of them do not carry original 40 series. So while you say I want 40 series, they will say we have them and you will get delta flow which is significantly quieter.

My 83 has Super 40s on it... very loud, lots of interior resonance and mine go all the way out the back too.
