Tried this on the '84 K10 yesterday and it worked like a charm! I just can't believe how much of a difference a little bushing makes on these doors. To think I've been slamming doors on these trucks for years and they could've been fixed in seconds!

I know, right? I just kept forgetting to buy the darn pex.

Went to my local hardware store. when I told him what it was for he gave me a 4" long piece of pex for free. This fix is awsome!!!
Putting this cheap mod on my truck was a wtf moment. It works amazingly. I never had the doors shut so easy

well i bought a stick of pex & fixed both doors. what a difference.
