First square body

Just wanted to introduce myself. This is my first square body build. I have a 1987 Chevy 2wd Silverado long bed that I am finishing up the ls swap on at the moment. Me and my dad usually mess around with early fords but I wanted to build a ls swapped square body to semi daily drive once it was done. The truck has a cool story or at least to me anyways. My good friend from schools uncle bought the truck when it was almost new. Long story short his dad ended up with the truck and I was able to buy it off the family. His Name was Kenny so we jokingly call the truck Kenny the square body. My 7 year old some enjoys helping and has been there most of the time during the build so far. I’ll do a build thread later but here’s a few photos.

I’ve been lurking for the last year. Picked up a lot of information from here just reading about different ways to do things.
