I want to go back to an OEM snorkel type air cleaner housing. Currently have an open element 14" filter on top of my Pro-flo 4 efi.
My air intake temp is 180 degrees! Blame that on our recent 110 temps and the headers.
I want the OEM setup with the hose attached to that bird cage thingy on the rad support.
Our last wrecking yard in Yuma recently closed up and went away!
I'm not opposed to fabricating one but, I'd rather just find one. My question is it doesn't look like the factory ones use a 14" filter. If there were housing around a 14" filter I think it will hit the dizzy.
Was the OEM filter smaller than 14"?
