Engine electrical problem

okay today while driving the my truck it decided to have no throttle response or anything even my radio died but the engine stayed running. after i pulled over and and threw it in park everything came back it then also decided to die a mile or so down the road but would restart so if anyone can help it be greatly appreciated as it is my daily driver

Check you alternator connections first, then look at ALL of the battery connections, even down on the starter. Clean and tighten evrything. Check for any bare wires that may be shorting out too.

ok i will i know a while back i had a short from a wire that went through a steel tube to the starter
