Out of nowhere my headlights on the driver side got extremely dim, barely even lit. Hopped in the cab and noticed the left flasher light was illuminated in the cab. The turn signal light in the grille and the tail lamp were not illuminated however. I'm not sure if there are any known issues with this or not. I tried adding an extra ground just as a test with my test leads at work and the lights got brighter but it then made my flashers stop working. With the high beams on every thing gets even dimmer. The passenger side has no issues at all.

On a side note, a month ago I blew my turn signal fuse and I put a breaker in place assuming there was an issue with that circuit somewhere. Also wondering if there are known issues with the flasher circuit that could be related to this issue.

Dim headlight is usually a poor ground.

Your signal light issue is similar to my '86. Except mine is intermittent and does not effect the tail light. Oddly, a good strong headwind can temporarily fix it while going down the road. Haven't figured out the issue yet.

My tail lights are not affected.

However I got in the truck to move it tonight and the headlights were just fine. Weird...
