Dont know what changed...? Help?!

Ok so heres the rundown. I have an 87 v10 350 tbi. I recently dropped a motor in from a 91. So Saturday I was buttoning it all up and I finally got it running. Well today I decided to get it timed right and running good. Cranked it over n it didn't wanna stay running after she fired. It will lope when it does run and has about 1/4 throttle. Then noticed some white smoke rolling out of the top of the throttle body. This was not happening over the weekend... What could have changed?? And what would cause the white smoke coming outta the TBI mean??

sounds like maybe the timing isn't good enough to keep it running and probably a little vaporized fuel floating back out the intake.

Update. No smoke coming outta tb today. While cranking though gas is misting out of the tb. Im stumped. Tried moving plug wires, twisting distributor, n unplugging the computer advance with the same result...

I got her running again... Still a little rough but it stays running on its own. Guess i get to mess with the timing some more. Gotta love computer advance timing!
